A workspace for a calmer mind

Think clearly.
Live gently.

Nexus gathers your notes, tasks, projects and habits into one quiet, black and white page. No account. No cloud. Just you and your thoughts, finally in the same place.

Latest build 1.1.2 · macOS 14+ and iOS 17+

Welcome to Nexus. 01 / 12
One home

Everything you're keeping,
kept.

Notes, tasks, projects, habits, pages and a daily pause, all in one place that looks the way calm feels.

01

Pages that breathe

A blank page, and nothing else. Write, drag, rearrange. Your thinking gets to take up room without taking over.

02

Plans that hold

Tasks, deadlines and projects together, so the thing you meant to do is the thing you actually see.

03

Small rituals, kept

Habits, focus sessions and a daily quote. Gentle nudges, not another dashboard shouting at you.

The shape of a day

Open it.
Exhale.

No feeds, no badges, no noise. Nexus opens on the one thing that matters now, then gets out of the way.

  • A dashboard that reads like a note. Today, your quote, your next few tasks.
  • Notes next to the work. Pages live beside tasks and projects, not in another app.
  • Runs on your device. No account, no sync, no one reading over your shoulder.
Everything in one
quiet place.

A home for the whole mind

01

Yours, offline

Everything lives on your device. No account, no server, no one else's business.

02

Black on white

A single, honest palette. Your eyes get to rest while your thoughts get loud.

03

Fast, then quiet

Opens in a blink, then fades into the background. Software should be seen, not heard.

Take it home

Bring your thoughts home.

Opening Nexus on macOS (it isn't notarised)
  1. Download the .zip and double-click it to unzip.
  2. Drag Nexus into your Applications folder.
  3. The first time you open it, macOS will say it can't verify the developer. Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose Open, then click Open again.
  4. If it still refuses, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to Nexus.
  5. Terminal shortcut, if you prefer: run the command below, then open the app normally.
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Nexus.app

Nexus checks this page for a newer build each time it opens, and offers the update right inside the app.
